Magma Falls

Magma Falls

not so afar, molten magma falls
down upon the city we once roamed
burn like ashes, those words wrought
giant stone and glass building topple
collapsing into the pool, of red
a city leveled, the others dead
distance furthers, my body aches
laying after vomiting at the grave.

I have been writing poetry for the last 13 years. It all started as an assignment for a creative writing course. I never thought I would like writing, as I am dyslexic and language was always a struggle for me, but I fell in love with the art form in that class.
