Winds of leaves rustle
cascade of chromatic fire
crumbling under force
decay below, the way we walk
upon drowning hopes
over piles wandered past

sunless set, upon ashen woke
trees sighing at the look
fallen bows discarded
past the way of skulls
bones and locks,
a box with no days
endless rays
from a silver set moon
ache the wrist that wrote
a cage without a moat.
