Statue to Time

Statue to Time

green, mossy covered stone
dulled grey statue to time
stand alone, yet amongst
the copse of grand trees
a forest forever on the edge
of silence.

to travel under passes
and over ancient bridges
the land then opens upon
a vast visual of brown bark
and green leaf.

seeking out the stone
coming very far from home
only to discover, that
this statue is naught
but rock.

Lamp Light in a Tundra

Lamp Light in a Tundra

orange glow above, lamps lights bright, yet the world seems so dim
cold breeze carries by, we all are bundled under thick layers
glass towers rise off to my sides, i must hold back something from my eye
cars come by, glow off their heads, how can i not feel mine
in this tundra world, i bath in the aura, under the lamp light
knowing that my fight, is not out of sight quite yet.
