She Had Green Eyes

She Had Green Eyes

Sunrays break the dull greys of those past days
and I find, the light has brightened my mind

Mere moments that appear for years
all my remaining day I recall
attraction felt, smiles dealt
and eyes locked on and on

Unknown strangers pass maybe once
a memory, but a glance
yet stays a while past.
