nearly black, but creeping
upon with malice
rays lit through
the blinds

founds, the idea
maddening signs
act quickly or
lines will be drawn
then immediately
crossed

in love's blindfold
finding missing
void in heart
yet a tempo drives
a beat of craze

swearing that cannot
wait past this minute
to portray a beating heart
dying as it bleeds over
an outstretched arm
