Ashes and Skulls

Ashes and Skulls

sunless set, upon ashen woke
trees sighing at the look
fallen bows discarded
past the way of skulls
bones and locks,
a box with no days
endless rays
from a silver set moon
ache the wrist that wrote
a cage without a moat.
