Felled By The Sword, The Dark Foe

Felled By The Sword, The Dark Foe

Drowning in amber reflections
Of a mirror broken by my image
Drawn and torn by the word
Thrown by the sword
The world wields a mighty
Blade, it cut me in half.

Head split in two
Head aching from divide
They thrive,
The devils
Under my bed
Under my sun.

Demonic ritualistic ways
Praise the ways
We fray way the dark fay
To keep them from
Slitting our throats
In the dark
So I hark

Felled by the sword
Felled by the dark foe
Feel me in the darkness
See me in the light
Rise this sword
Of my word
Watch me cross
This deep fjord.

And in the end
Drown.
Sword in my back.
Death is a cruel
Mistress
And I’m a sack.
